Made it to the ferry!

After a nutrition rich breakfast we biked to Kustavi. There we found a market selling loimulohi and newly baked pulla and munkki!
We made it to the ferry to Iniö! The ferry has a café, just check what Kalle bought!

Well, finaly time to rest. Todays route has been very good, not much vastatuuli and uphills!

Todays facts and highlights:
- Leg distance ~70,1 km
- Top speed 55 km/h (Kalle. Walter 53,9km/h)
- Avg. speed 16km/h
- Mussalo camping has a puucee with workin water closet
- Missed the Teersalo-Hakkenpää ferry -> Taxiboat 85 euros :)
- Just made it for sauna!
- Tentvillage built
- Swimming in the sea

... Now enjoying some grillimakkaraa!

We have just arrived to Milla's place, who is hosting us for tonight. Now its time to have some food! Btw, Down by the laituri festival is tonight. Will we be able to bike tomorrow? :)

It is a long time since last blogged journey. This time we are going to explore the picturesque route of Finnish archipelago by bike.

Turun saaristo

We came up with the idea one summer evening sipping some beer/cider... I think. We'll after the idea was born we had a planning session at Pia&Kalles place. The team consists of Pia, Nina, Nanna, Kalle, Jonas and Walter. Kalle is the only bike crazy guy of us... So he will probably be biking well ahead us others :)

Day 1:

Åbo, Nådendal, Merimasku, Velkua, Taivassalo

Day 2:

Taivassalo, Gustavs, Iniö, Houtskär

Day 3:

Houtskär, Korpo, Nagu

Day 4:

Nagu, Pargas, Åbo

Length: ~218km (?)

Here we are planing the route... We're quite easy folks, so no argues. yet.
