Biking in Pag

Friday activities. Pag is an island about ~1 hours north of Zadar. The island is known for it nature (no trees), moon alike landscape. And for its salt production, sheep, cheese and sheep meat. We had thw whole day time to look around in Pag (Our bus to Osijek deprted at 23:00), so we rented ourself two bikes. The result was a trip of about ~30 km, ~5 hours of up and down hills.

The views were very stunning and beautiful.

Reading map. How to get lost in an island with one main road and ~1 smaller road...

Pag town seen from above. After this picture was taken we had over 2 km of downhill, nice.

The water was cold and really salty, at least it felt so. Nanna was brave enough to take a swim.

Two aunties doing some laze work and gossiping. (Pag is also known for its laze).

Finally, the cheese. I found 30 kuna on the road so I had this opportunity to taste the cheese :)

Overall the island was very nice, we can recommend it to everyone. If you rent a bike, take first the coast road and then other routes. By this you avoid biking the steep 2km uphill...
